If you'd like to register for one of the 2 FREE Skype workshops on offer to test out this new workshop format please complete the registration below. Scroll down for workshop description.
As enthusiastic members of the belly dance community in NZ we all want to see it grow and prosper, attracting new dancers and being regarded as a vibrant and exciting activity either as a hobby or on a more professional level.
I’ve spent the last few years working hard to encourage new dancers to join the TribalDiva Belly Dance Company classes and community, and have had success with this largely thanks to consistent and effective use of the social media platforms available. Love it or hate it, social media is here to stay and your potential customers are on it so if you’re interested in growing your belly dance community both locally and across New Zealand then learning how to use it effectively is a good investment of your time.
I’ve put together a workshop tailored to NZ belly dance teachers wanting to use social media to attract new students, increase local awareness of what you do and what you offer from my own experience over the last couple of years and the professional development I’ve undertaken in the area.
This workshop will be available via Skype or in person as suits, and to help test the format I’d like to offer 2 FREE workshops in exchange for feedback on the workshop, if you would like to register for one of the 2 free workshops you can do so on the registration form above.
Each workshop will involve a pre-review by me of your current social media content, and a 1 hour Skype consultation to cover general tips as well as advice specifically tailored for you. Below is some of the content that can be covered:

Each workshop will involve a pre-review by me of your current social media content, and a 1 hour Skype consultation to cover general tips as well as advice specifically tailored for you. Below is some of the content that can be covered:
- How to increase the number of followers on your social media profiles – growing your business/class profile & increasing the number of people who know about what you offer
- How to convert your social media audience into increased class numbers and more performance bookings
- How to keep people engaged with your posts (this is important as if people don’t ‘like’ you posts for example on facebook they will no longer see your posts so your work increasing the ‘likes’ on your page will go to waste!)
- Finding content to connect with your followers
- Using social media event listings to attract new dancers
- Using social media systems to group, track and manage people who have expressed interest in your services but may not have made it along to a class yet
- What you can do for free, how your existing network of friends/clients/students etc can be inspired to help you grow your social media assets
- What social media promotion is worth paying for, how to do it intelligently & how to track results
- How to make sure that your efforts to grow your social media following doesn’t take away too much of your precious creative time!
